“Snow White and the Huntsman” grossed $56 million during its opening weekend and has already grossed around $120 million in just six days. But despite these great results, Universal Pictures admitted that it rushed the film due to competition from Relativity Media, which was developing its own Snow White movie, called “Mirror Mirror.”
Now comes word that the studio is moving forward with a sequel and has already hired David Koepp (Spider-Man, Jurassic Park, Mission: Impossible) to write the script. This time, there won’t be any competition from Relativity, which means no rushing.
Universal is now talking with director Rupert Sanders about returning for “Snow White and the Huntsman 2.” He made his directorial debut with the movie, and despite getting numerous offers for other projects, he is reportedly interested in helming the sequel. All the actors have options for two sequels.

This new version of the original children story telling ” Snowhite” is scary even for adults! The acting and especial effects are amazingly effective!!
