It’s hard to watch the most famous scene from E.T. without feeling like you’re flying with E.T. himself in front of the giant full moon, but now that feeling is about to get a lot stronger. The 1982 Steven Spielberg classic is finally coming to Blu-Ray this October, and the announcement comes with a trailer that promises all the goodies you’ll be able to find on the disc when it finally arrives.
The release will be crammed with extras, from an all-new interview with Steven Spielberg (who never does commentary tracks) to something called “The E.T. Journals,” which features never-before-seen footage. There will also, of course, be the usual UltraViolet, DVD and Digital Copy so you can watch it everywhere.
